6/1 session
Spent a few hours Saturday afternoon casting LC and swim baits. Salad was manageable. All I got was a short hali.

Yes, I'm glad that I avoided getting skunked. Did not notice much of red tide on Saturday, because of the location perhaps? I was at Carlsbad.

Thanks, it's no different for me as well. It was a nice change to feel something at the end of the line that wasn't a piece of seaweed for once

Re: 6/1 session
Went to the beach yesterday, didn't fish but the conditions were atrocious. Torrey Pines, Del Mar, Solana beach all had pretty profound red tide and awful lot of salad. Saw a few fishermen trying their luck but haven't seen anyone reeling any fish.
