9/14- Miramar Launch ramp closed
Stopped by Lake Miramar to look around and the boat ramp is closed just to let you guys know. I did not see any float tubes or kayaks out there, but I’m guessing you can still probably launch from the ramp. Anyway, just wanted to keep everybody updated as of 12 noon today what the status is.

Talked to my buddy shortly after I left and he said you can still launch kayaks and tubes.

Re: 9/14- Miramar Launch ramp closed
Fished it Sunday morning 8/13 and was able to launch off the ramp. We were ready to turn around and leave to another lake. When the gentleman (City Staff) who opens the lake told us we could launch that morning. And could not understand why the launch was closed. We were the only boat on the water with a few Yaks and Tubes. I'm not sure what's going between the lake staff. But I assume there was not a whole lot of communication regarding the launch status.

Thanks for the info! I can also confirm that you can still launch yaks and tubes from the ramp. I was there Saturday afternoon. There's currently a pretty decent bite too!VinnyBass wrote: Mon Sep 14, 2026 1:44 pm Talked to my buddy shortly after I left and he said you can still launch kayaks and tubes.

My buddy fishes Miramar all the time and he told me that he’s been launching his Kayak there’s no problem. I also got a text from Ruben that works at the lake and he said kayaks and float tubes are fine. Again I don’t work for the city, but that’s what I have so far.
