Minnesota Madness 2026

Back in Minnesota at Pelican Lake for my annual fishing trip. Getting mostly largemouths with a few smallmouths mixed in. Craw baits, senkos and neko rigs are the main producers.The fish are chunky and healthy.

Great job out there again buddy. What a fun fishing adventure you go on every year. As you look forward to Barrett opening each year, I know darn well you look even more forward to heading out to Pelican Lake and catching bass after bass after bass. Thank you for sharing and keep catching bass. :-)

You catch any pelicans there? Some guys here have been catching birds from the reports.

Those Northern fish look pretty distinct compared to their Florida cousins.

Does a topwater bite turn on there in the summer months?
