Headed to Cap this morning for about 5 hours. Pounded the shoreline with a variety of baits until I found what they wanted to chew on, which ended up being spinnerbaits. Caught a handful of clones. Nothing big, but still catching. Looks like the heat is on next weekend.
Typical size this morning.
Biggest catch of the day
Until tomorrow. Tight lines….

Re: El Cap 6/9
Cool. I did the afternoon shift, been a month, surprised it's down 10', but heard water still coming in at north trees. Only got two, one j/b and on boot leg frog. Lost an absolute monster in 1' of water, on the boot tail fluke. She exploded on it, and I couldn’t feel anything and kept reeling but she’d run all the way back to me and under my boat. They’re amazing creatures. So pretty there still.

Looks like fun!
I was at Santana's Graduation on Wednesday. Some some balloons float off. I commented, they would end up in San Vee. I was close, El Cap.
