5/27 report

Got to the gate around 4. Gate was just opened and we were about 8th to drive in it seemed like. Had a boat which was nice. Parking up by the bathroom because dock is so high. Motored to Hauser and stopped at a pinned location but it was totally different than years past. Threw all types of topwater to no action while waiting for a bit more light. As soon as we were able to see a bitter better, we drove to the back and started fishing the submerged trees. Got a couple on poppers senko and spinner baits. Drifted until we came across huge schools of bait fish or shad. Started catching more numbers throwing into these schools. They were busting on surface and on shore. Lasted until 10-11 am. Bite slowed. Changed to jerk baits, orange senkos and spinners. Caught a few more working shoreline back to dock. Docked at 1. Had about 50-60 for the boat. Biggest a little over 4lb
