5/19-You know where I went....
Yes, after a fun fishing outing on Tuesday with my buddy Joe, I just had to go back to Murray and check it out.
A pretty good start as I caught a bass on my third cast with a fluke. Pretty quickly after that I landed another bass on a fluke. Just a little less than 15 minutes later I was fan casting a Sammy and the water exploded and landed bass number three. I missed a bite on a fluke and threw right back where it bit and landed a small bass. Yep, it seemed at the time that this was going to be a good or maybe great morning of fishing. Then........suddenly, the reaction bait bite shut off for me. It was crazy. I threw the fluke, Sammy, under spins and a small jerk bait and not a bite. It was like someone turned off the bite switch...ha ha I then worked a craw bait off a point and then a ned rig 4" worm.
Finally....a long 2 hours later, I caught one in deeper water on an underspin. I made ton of casts with underspins (and despite @mcfish texting me to throw a drop shot, I stuck to the underspin)and somehow managed a couple more small bass in deeper water. The bass were small but the 7th bass was tiny and since "7" is a lucky number I decided to call it quits after that.
Just a few pics... This one forgot to wipe the ketchup off after eating... oh, what the heck...this is the one that @Mcfish
broke off the last time he fished Murray and
thought it was a huge bass.

Gimme back my baby bass! May seems early for topwater at Murray, but it will just make the season longer. I think maybe you forced them to feed! Yep, dropshot would of extended your day...you're so stubborn!

Those are awesome! Actually made for someone missing an arm. You set the hook with your leg. I bought one for a friend who always wanted to fish but lost an arm when he was younger. They even make a one handed knot jig. Pretty cool. Definitely googan status of you have both your arms
