Otay 4/22, San V 4/23

Post by bassassasin »

I launched my kayak at Otay for the evening bite. It was slow fishing, however managed to a catch few dinks. Water is the highest I’ve ever seen it at. Most fish caught shallow and tight to structure. Water temps on the colder side.

Launched at San V early morning. They had a night tournament the previous night; Big fish went for 10lbs And some change. Over all fishing was tough. Winds were strong per usual. Saw a lot of fish on beds. Ran into a few fish doing the spawning/mating dance. Managed to pick off a few dinks, but nothing picture worth.

Overall great weekend, I’m glad I got to get out two days in a row!

Hitting 2 different lakes in 2 days......Sweeeeeeeeet!
From semi murky water to clear water really can test a fisherman.
I remember those days and need to try to do that a few times this year.
Anyway, nice job out there and thanks for sharing(love the pics!)
