Made a trip on Sunday morning to my favorite local body of water. Was pleased to see the water level a couple feet higher on account of recent rain. Hopefully some more will bring that water level back up.
It was 3 days after the full moon and we had some favorable eastbound wind and a few warmer days. That seemed to inspire the fish to bite. My brother set a new PB for himself 20 minutes in with a solid 3.5 (his previous PB was under 2 since the areas he fished in Toronto weren’t known for big largies). The bites kept coming steady for us until 9:30ish. There was a tourney happening and the guys in boats around us were catching too. Seems like it was a good day to be on the lake.
Worm bite, but I did get a couple as well doing the “mid strolling” thing.
This time last year I was not catching a damn thing. Nice to end January on a good note. Spring will be here before we know it!

Nice to see some water coming in to that lake. There is some good forcasted rain coming Thursday through next week. Let's hope these weather systems produce. It's too bad the City has a hardon for that dam and will let the water flow when it reaches the familiar level again.
Love those robos you were using=)
Nice job and thanks for the report!!
