Delta baby
After teaching a photo class in Carmel for a few days I got a chance to hit the Delta again. Sunrise to sunset yesterday produce three limits, jerkbaits, gunfish and boot tail flukes- fun times.

PS guess which ramp I fished out of and win a Seewald art reproduction of choice. First one correct wins.

Re: Delta baby
That last two images look like the Little Potato Slough Bridge on Hwy 12 where Little Potato Slough meets the S. Moke just west of Terminous.otaymichael wrote: ↑Tue Oct 31, 2023 10:29 am PS guess which ramp I fished out of and win a Seewald art reproduction of choice. First one correct wins.
If I got the bridge right and you launched at the closest ramp then you launched at Tower Park Marina.
In days past caught a lot of stripers around that area.
Next closest would be B&W, about 5 miles west.

Re: Delta baby
I believe all but two were on top. I swim the boot tail flukes on the surface and The gunfish did its magic.

Re: Delta baby
Winner winner, chicken dinner. Yeah once you fish this area it’s obvious -that big bridge near Tower Park Marina is a large landmark. Just out of site in the photo is the large tower, about 100' high, with the name 'Tower Park' on both sides. Nearest town is Lodi, where I usually stay (or in van at truck stop on the 5 and the 12 intersection).Tailingloop wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 6:43 pmThat last two images look like the Little Potato Slough Bridge on Hwy 12 where Little Potato Slough meets the S. The slough photo is near Paradise Marina, off 8 mile rd, where I also launch from regularly (or B&W, as you mentioned).
The beach photo is of Beacons Beach, Encinitas, c 1980. One of 120 or so to choose from. Visit my site and click on orders, and choose any image in five pages of my art. Have fun.. Www.Seewald.com

Thanks Michael. I'll peruse your sight ( I have looked at it before) and get back to you by PM.otaymichael wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2023 1:10 am
