Lake closure schedule

San Diego city lakes stated that Barrett was closed the first Wednesday of the month. That's today, and I believe it was open for the first day of the season today?Confused, and a little miffed, as I've never missed an opening day in 10 years

I was wondering the same thing. Practice what you preach people.

I called in and asked that same question and they were gracious enough to call me back stating that the Wednesday in May would always be open for the opener, but the rest of the months the first Wed. of the month would be close.
