San diego river

Post by Pipster »

High water in mission vally. For weeks the water level has been high. Anyone fished upstream and seen the same thing? I'm just really curious where all this water comes from considering it hasn't rained in quite a while.

@inthedeep2 is correct as they have been releasing water from El Cap and it has flooded many parts of the river. I posted in the Freshwater
Bass section. viewtopic.php?t=1180 on Oct. 24 about it and have not been back since. The water was high and very stained and I was lucky to pull out a couple bass. The water level was pretty crazy and hopefully the water will soon be back to a normal level.
