Went for an afternoon session throwing lures. There was pretty decent amount of salad, so switched to weedless set up quickly. First tried Torrey Pines but had no luck, saw couple other fishermen as well but did not notice any action on their rods either. Later moved further up north and got 2 decent sized calicos and a short halibut on Keitech 4.8 inch swim bait. Didn't have much chance to fish from shore this year. In my previous efforts, I ended up being skunked. It was a nice change to have something decent at the end of the line.
