Back to back Cap mornings
Spent my weekend at my favorite local body of water for a shore bang.
Maybe the most fun weekend of the year? Both days the bite was on fire early. Saturday I managed to get some worm fish later after the moving bait bite seemed to be exhausted, but they were dinks compared to the quality fish I’d gotten on moving bait(s) earlier x Caught a whole bunch and left after about 2-2.5 hours.
Went back this morning, same moving bait bite early. I had a line in the water by 5:15 and by 6:00 my rod had bent a half dozen times. Quality wasn’t there today though, today’s fish were 1/2-2/3 the size of Saturday’s catches.
Fun stuff! My right arm is worn out from chuckin, windin and reeling in fish!
Here’s a few pics

Re: Back to back Cap mornings
I can definitely see why El Cap is your favorite body of water.
What can I say but "Awesome report, pics and fishing!" Dang...while I sat drinking coffee early these past few days, you were
pulling in bass after bass which must of been really a blast. When normally a sore arm is a bad thing, I am pretty sure that
in this case it was well worth it. Thank you so much for sharing and pretty sure you will be back nailing more bass on your
next trip. Tight lines always buddy.
