Halibut

Post by KamWalsh »

Really solid Halibut fishing in the bay the last couple of weeks from skiffs, kayak, and shore. Using sardines, smelt, and double rig with underspin and white gulp swimbaits.

I'd say so. We tried for them a few weeks back for no love but a couple rakes!

If you don't mind me asking, how do you rig your live bait?

I’ve been just using a Carolina rig with 1-4oz of lead. I was mostly using stingers but stopped since most of the fish were eating the front hook.
