After an abysmal Saturday at Sutherland yesterday (a handful of dinks) I thought to redeem myself at El Capitan today. The topwater bite really never got going at either lake this weekend, at least where I was fishing.
It had been a minute since I'd worm fished, so I T-rigged a 7 inch fat Roboworm in Bold Bluegill color and decided to drag it around. I got 6 total. Nothing giant but they were all healthy footballs so it ended up being a pretty nice morning.
Here's to hoping the topwater bite turns back on!
Tight lines all.

Nice Job! I always think a longer worm is easier for a bass to see...especially the bass that are a little fatter and not as intimidated by the size of the worm.
