After the great testicular meltdown Tuesday, I decided to meet up with my buddy Randy for a waderless fishing excursion in Mission Bay. Man it felt good to fish in cool water and swim trunks.
We took off from Dana landing and went under the bridge back behind Sea World. Then we headed back all the way to the western-most bridge (or overpass) into the mouth of the bay. I was hoping to maybe pick up a couple of Corbinas but no joy on that front this time.
I ended the day with several spotties and a small halibut, but more importantly Randy hooked up on some spotties. He is relatively new to fishing so it's always great to see him have success.
I may be rejuvenated enough to tackle a lake this weekend for more topwater!
Tight lines friends!
