I promised I'd post more on here when it got brought back so here's the scoop from Sunday! Got a late start on the water around 2. Started out trying some new tactics with squarebills around pigs for no love. Tried the ned for a bit with a few short bites. Switched to the fly rod and headed up the right arm and started getting some action. A steady pick of clones in the 2.5 to 3 pound range and the biggest crappie I have ever seen. Towards the evening started to see some blow ups around the trees and caught a few in quick succession. Ran around the corner when it slowed down to see if my buddy was seeing the same and switched to topwater for a last fish before having to run back to pigs and bail out around sunset. Fish are certainly more spread out but finished with between 15-20 in about 5 hours.
