Wed 29th top water fun!!

Got out usual time, Jose let us in early, wasn’t too busy at Pigs, met our buddies Dave and Joe, headed to Hauser. Consistently good popper bite ALL day, even got one on a Rat, the biggest was 4lb on a frog! Braided line really got it done, did lose some big fish on barbless hook, but overall another great day catching them on top water. Ended @30+ beautiful day with temperatures @75

Always fun fishing with you. Incredible to see that big rat swimming. You find the best lures. Except for that bone popper, I may have been some help on that specific one.

Those googin baits are usually on sale at karls amazing baits. Com or mystery tackle box ... i pick up a couple of those last month for 3$ a piece also the biospawn popper was on sale for 4$ too

That's what I found also. I picked up around 10 of them which is what we are using, when they are that cheap you throw them into the shoreline and don't worry. The megabass pop-x is also great, but at $20, I'd rather throw 6 of the googan's. Chuck uses the bone color and I throw the black one a lot. They both seem to work.
