Saturday Raven (my granddaughter) caught her first bass. Monday I caught my first bass on a swim bait. I'm challenged. Trying to figure out how to add the pictures and am having no luck. I've used the attachments tab and when I hit the preview button the pictures are there but when I submit the post...

Thanks Stringbean for the heads up. It's nice to have the new site up. San Vee was good to me also. 5 green monsters (at this point any fish is a monster). It's been a tough beginning this year for me. I can remember being blanked as much as I have this year. I was starting to question my abilities....

It doesn't sound like your age has effected the speed of your hook set.

I'm considering a BFS set up....
what is a mile? I have 8lb braid with a 6lb leader on a 7' spinning set up that i'll fly line a z shad on and will maybe get 20-25' if i'm lucky but the busters need to be close. are you getting better distance then that?
